Future Plans
The Future of MTP is up to You.....
Have you always wanted to stage a show but thought you could never get it on the boards? MTP can help! We will provide successful applicants with the required resources, not to mention an experienced Board that is ready and willing to help make your show a success. MTP exists to create and share opportunities in community theatre. Your opportunity is knocking! For more information on the proposal process click here.
We are always seeking either individuals, or preferably teams (e.g. producer, director, musical director, choreographer), who are prepared and excited to stage a production of their own choosing. Can’t decide on a show? Well, the Board has a few shows in mind to help you along - pick one of them or pick your own.
The list below reflects shows that the MTP Board has reviewed and is suggesting would make great choices for the London stage. Flexibility is the key. One of the suggested shows may spark your imagination as a potential producer or director, or you may have your own personal favourite to propose instead. All options are usually open, depending, of course, on the availability of the production rights.
Here are some show suggestions:
Broadway Shows: Buddy, Chicago, Crazy For You, High Society, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, My Fair Lady, Pippin, She Loves Me, State Fair, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Wonderful Town, Cabaret, Brigadoon, Hello Dolly, Cabaret, Follies, The Drowsy Chaperone, Tell me On A Sunday, Song & Dance, Jekyll and Hyde, 42nd Street, The Producers, 9 to 5, Sweet Charity, Hair, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Gypsy, or I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
Gilbert & Sullivan: Hot Mikado, Princess Ida, Ruddigore, Sullivan and Gilbert, Yeomen of the Guard, Patience, or The Sorcerer.
