COMMITTEES

MTP always has lots of things going on and lots of activities in which you might become involved. There is always fun and a sense of accomplishment to be had!! Some activities are ongoing while others are specially defined projects. In any event, we would love to include more members in each of them.

Each committee or project group has a Chair appointed by the Board and its membership comprises at least one Board member (who is not necessarily the Chair).

The following committees welcome new volunteers:

• The Finance Committee (review and oversee the financial statements and budget of MTP, review proposed budgets for MTP productions, be responsible for grants and sponsorship)

• The Community Relations Committee (be responsible for coordinating MTP volunteers, be responsible for planning and conducting silent auctions, 50/50 sales, and other community events, be responsible for workshops presented by MTP)

• The Productions Committee (oversee all aspects of MTP productions, including auditions, be responsible for recruiting production teams, review all show proposals received by MTP, coordinate relations with MTP venues)

• The Marketing and Communications Committee (be responsible for all aspects of marketing of MTP, be responsible for all aspects of MTP communications, be responsible for the MTP website, compile and coordinate a database of MTP contacts, update and maintain the window at the Palace Theatre)
